Our Pastor
Jason Cunningham
Jason is planting Reformation
Presbyterian Church in Jefferson, Georgia. While serving as a
ruling elder, Jason and his wife, Nancy, spent the last 24 years raising
their four daughters (24, 22, 18, 16) and serving at Chestnut
Mountain Presbyterian Church (PCA). In 2015, Jason felt a
call to full-time ministry and began attending seminary part
time while continuing his work as an IT Professional,
graduating from Metro Atlanta Seminary in 2020.
Jason is passionate about the Reformed Faith and the Great Commission, participating or leading mission journeys to Canada, Turkey, Haiti, Bulgaria, and India. While feeling a strong desire for the mission field, Jason and Nancy felt that the Lord was not calling them to leave the area. Having raised their children here and having their extended family in the Jackson County area, they began to sense that God was calling them to seek the harvest in their own community. In late 2023, after prayer and counsel from the CMPC Session, Jason was called to the work of planting a daughter church in Jefferson.
